Welders & Boilermakers Boilermakers & Welders   KPR Engineering is a Sydney based special services company. We provide skilled labour to the Engineering, Mining and Construction sectors only. Our dedicated management team have gained their industry knowledge from years of being on site. With over 30 years of hands on experience between the team, we are able to accommodate our clients needs with precision.    We are currently seeking Boilermakers with welding experience or Welders with fabrication experience. Our client has been awarded an on-going service contract and they are looking for an experienced candidate to fill the roll of Leading Hand on site. The suitable candidates will initially spend 30% of their time on site and 70% in their large workshop doing heavy fabrication. Due to this being a new contract most of your time will be spent in the workshop initially, but as things start to pick up you will eventually spend more time on site.   The Successful Candidate:      You will be trained on using a brand new automated welding machine and an automated grinding machine. You will need to also pass 6 modules on site safety and a medical. You will need to be trade qualified and experienced. You must have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with client representatives on site. You must be able to read workshop drawings and identify weld symbols. You must have excellent trade knowledge and be able to troubleshoot. You must be able to be away from home for periods of up to 2 weeks.
